Gorgeous Family Session At The Boston Commons

This golden hour maternity and family session at the Boston Common was such a sweet reminder that some of the best photos happen when you stop worrying about every image being perfectly posed.

We let their daughter run, twirl, laugh, climb, and just be herself and that is what made the gallery feel so alive. Kids do not need to sit still the entire session for you to have beautiful photos. Honestly, the movement, the little in-between moments, and the genuine laughs are usually what make the images feel the most meaningful.

The Boston Common gave us the prettiest soft light, greenery, and classic city backdrop, while still leaving plenty of space for their family to relax and have fun. This session was playful, warm, and full of real connection exactly how family maternity photos should feel.

If you are planning a maternity session with little ones, my biggest advice is this: let them be kids. The gallery will be better for it.
